Logichainge had just started. They had a few prototypes for their ideas and got in touch with their first potential customers. I helped Logichainge with integrating the results. So that once a client was willing to move forward, they could quickly get live with the solution.

Sendcloud was rapidly growing. The engineering team was over 100 people.

I was hired because of my long history with the company. I helped new engineers becoming productive in the new environment and took care of more complex problems.

• Worked for the Expansion Team. The team responsible for the core shipment processing.
• Actively supported new initiatives like the development of the next API version.
• Rewrote the shipment tracking solution (polling based) into a microservice capable of tracking millions of parcels per day.
• Introduced Datadog tracing across the entire application.

• Improved shipment delivery success and client onboarding by improving label print quality.

Initially hired to deploy some vendor applications across the organization. However priorities changed quickly to introduce a new more performant and stable LDAP database for their chip design environment. Later on I returned to the original assignment.

• Grew the development team to 12 people (2 teams), supporting ~10K online merchants across Belgium, France and Germany.
• Completed the technical transition from PHP and migrated the platform to the cloud, building the new platform with automated testing.
